Assassin's Creed II PC DRM Patch
Ubisoft did not make its fans happy with recent news of their new PC DRM for future games. They didn't make things any better by talking about it on the matter. Now, the company attempts to soften the blow a bit by releasing the Assassin's Creed II PC patch v1.01, which regulates a few things - most importantly, it allows gamers to pick up where they left off when they lost their Internet connection.

  • Game can now be continued from the exact same point when connection is restored
  • Added support for ATI Eyefinity technology
  • Fixed minor performance issues related to some multi-core processors
  • Now resets graphics options if a new video card or monitor is detected
  • Fixed some minor issues in Uplay Browser

Download the Assassin's Creed II PC patch v1.01.

It was actually a quite fun game, though I got mine on the PS3 (and glad I did once I heard about the DRM for the PC...)

Ubisoft is trying to soften the blow after their DRM got cracked open like an ass in a prison shower. Not gonna work. Fuck you, Ubi, fuck you.
