Back in October Ubisoft confirmed that the Assassin's Creed movie has been fast tracked "as the creative pieces come together, while allowing Ubisoft to maintain control of key elements of the movie's creative direction. Financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed."

Apart from that we know that, we have been informed that actor Michael Fassbender is going to portray the main role in the upcoming movie based on Ubisoft Montreal's well-known action adventure series.

Today, it was uncovered that writer Michael Lesslie will be penning the script for the movie. Michael did not work on any major Hollywood flick, although he has penned scripts for short films Skirt and Heavy Metal Drummer.

Mr. Lesslie, this is your chance to shine. Don't screw it up.
