Baldur's Gate 2 Next Year

As we reported a while ago, Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is on track for a release this month. According to this interview, the second installment in the RPG series will also be enhanced, but it won't be out until next year. Here's the scoop:
"We are committed to doing Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced Edition. The instant Baldur's Gate is completed most of our team is ready to start work on [it], with a couple holding back to continue to add features and support the fans...We're planning on shipping [it] in 2013, hopefully before the end of summer. I want to enjoy some sun this year - 2012 was a write off."

Reply This post is wrong. The interview clearly states bg1ee will be out this month after which they will start working on bg2ee immediately. |
