Battlefield 3 Confirmed by EA
Uros "Vader" Pavlovic

Boy, EA really wants to be in the news today. The publisher confirmed that
DICE is working very hard on another iteration in the well-known shooter franchise, Battlefield. EA chief operating officer John Pleasants (he sounds happy enough)
said he personally saw the game, while visiting the Swedish developer.
"I've had the luxury of looking at Battlefield 3 over at DICE in Sweden and was highly impressed by the way the team is working on that product," said Pleasants (reports G4). "Of course, that's not [coming out] in the fiscal year, but that is a product that is looking very good."
So, Battlefield 3, eh? Hm, EA hungers to restore the glory of the license.

I'll try a demo.
Isn't battlefield heroes still in beta?
Isn't battlefield 1943 still under development?
Isn't battlefield bad comp 2 is slated for a 2010 release?
How about you finish those first and make them good, geeez. Everything is done in bulk these days.
PS: If they stopped taking all those drugs and playing all those SIMS3 none of this would happen.
While I am aware of the original meaning of this word, it still feels bad to me to address games as products, in today's world...
