According to the press release, "Battlefield Play4Free, a deep PC shooter featuring signature Battlefield vehicular warfare, sandbox gameplay and intense 32-player online battles. With its advanced graphics, polished production values, depth and realism, Battlefield Play4Free takes the genre to the next level and is positioned to compete with top console titles."

Now we are complementing that arcade shooter with a core, realistic Battlefield shooter experience that fans have been clamouring for," said James Salt, Senior Producer, Battlefield Play4Free. "Battlefield Play4Free is for serious shooter fans who are looking for a premium ' but free ' experience that rivals top console titles."
The game mixes "the most popular maps from Battlefield 2 with the familiar classes and powerful weapons of Battlefield: Bad Company 2." Players will be able to utilize 16 vehicles in battle, including the Mil Mi-28 attack helicopter, the F35 VTOL jet fighter, the Russian T-90 main battle tank and the LSV light strike vehicle.
As you progress through the game, you learn new combat skills and earn in-game currency to spend on a vast range of weapons and equipment.

They fucked up BF Heroes, this is probably going the same way. I'd rather pay the price of the game and play it for free, you know, without premium crap. That's why Team Fortress 2, Quake and Unreal games still rule.

With that said, this better be Just like BF2/Badcompany as i stated in the other post. but with a new game play, modes, maps, and a over all update to the way you and the look of the game, or it will in deed be another Hereos shit title.
I really hope theres no "FEE AT DAM ALL" or we shouldnt even download the game intil they know what the hell is the deal and make it free, either way it best be a game like BF2/Bad company but far better than the two put in to one, of it will fail just like hereos did even if they dont think it did.
Guys come on were in charge of the stuff. we dont like a game stop playing it and play real games, ones that need to be played,
And we can easly run servers of our own. but its pricy ya but we can keep BF2 alive intil Ea gives us a true BF3 or a BF that just scarems play me or your a nut case.
