Even though Blizzard Entertainment didn't make any official announcements that Diablo 3 is coming to consoles, there have been various indications, all of which point towards the action RPG making it to the Xbox 360 and PS3.

During the Gamescom 2011 lead designer Josh Mosqueira stated that they are "very, very serious about bringing the Diablo 3 experience to the console."

"Today, we're trying to build the best console team at Blizzard. We're looking for programmers, designers, artists who think their dream job would be to bring Diablo to the console. Trust me, it is a dream job," he said. "All I can say is it's going to be awesome. Stay tuned."

Early this year, the well-known development studio was already looking for a team to help them with such a project.

So, it's pretty much definite, people. Diablo 3 is on its way to consoles.
