Borderlands DLC Getting Disc Release

2K Games uncovered that the Borderlands' downloadable content released so far is to get a disc edition for Xbox 360 and PC platforms, with a PS3 version unconfirmed for the time being.

The publisher did not reveal the price of the boxed DLC compilation, but they have confirmed that the following packs will be included:

Oh for the love of... Why not just release a traditional God damn expansion pack? Oh wait, I know the answer to that. They get more money this way. I imagine there are gamers out there who will be buying the DLCs online, individually, in addition to the boxed release (they are out there, I'm sure they are).

Thanks, EG.

Orphan Snatcher is one of the funniest things i have ever seen, it's so fucking brilliant i would pay for it.

edit: am i right in saying that sometimes, the best and maybe original ideas are found in indie games ?
seriously, what the fuck is the point of investing millions into making something WORSE than what a college student can manage with a cola bottle and half a joint ?

and don't diss Erasure, its gayness must be cherished even by the hairiest of men.

Thius DLC is nice and longer than Zombie Island, but there's no waypoints and the campaign is just a very long highway with road blocks & some open desert areas.

I finished it an hour ago on Multiplayer with 3 other players and it took about 4 hours to finish it. We didn't complete all the quests because it was too long to drive to the other side of the highway... I guess it would shorten the DLC a lot to use waypoints teleport.

The new vehicles, enemies & new energy guns are cool. It was worth my time and I will surely finish it again on my second playthrough.

The Borderlands universe had the potential to feature interesting plots, NPCs, and such like, but I guess Gearbox has all of their halfway decent drama and storyline people working on other games.

I loved Borderlands at first, but after a week or so it dawned on me just how vapid and hollow the total experience is. Looting and leveling characters only remained interesting for so long.

Borderlands is a worthless game in single-player, and its co-op, while fun, is still a distant second-fiddle to L4D1 and 2 (largely because L4D has those dramatic, memorable moments in co-op that Borderlands so painfully lacks).

And these halfhearted DLC releases (same shit, different wrapping paper) aren't changing that.

Sons of bitches!!! Why didn't just do that from the beginning? As for this new DLC, these dumb arses need to get it together. I mean, damn, driving all over creation gets tedious after an hour.
