Could It Be? Alan Wake PC?

The ever-watchful vigilant eye of the PC gaming community spotted a listing in Steam's registry, indicating the possibility of a PC version of Remedy's Alan Wake. Word on the official Alan Wake forum is that the registry entries "are as valid as they can get."

This is not the only sign of a potential PC version of Alan Wake. Remedy's Aki Järvilehto made the following statement: "We have received feedback from a lot of PC gamers, and I have to admit that yes, we somehow ignored that. Let's see if in the near future we could have some positive news to tell you about dating!"

Meanwhile, the developers of Alan Wake have announced American Nightmare, a follow up to the psychological thriller, which is going to be launched via XBLA.

Oh yeah, kinda like the chimney scene from When Loopy Kissed Baby.

i don't remembering it being a creation of genius so to me this only sounds like a latent desire to make up for lost sales due to their product being SHIT.

Alan Wake is not a "shit" game. You haven't played it, Vodoo, if you think that.

Obviously it didn't deserve GotY or anything (even though Time magazine somehow thought differently), and it was a bit over-hyped, iirc... but it was nonetheless a solid game, and a truly excellent narrative experience. I'm definitely looking forward to American Nightmare.

True. Alan Wake's a pretty solid game. Certainly not the game it could've been, but still a game that keeps you going until you finish it. The storyline's okay, even though it may lack just a little polish.
tei187: a little Polish? you sick bastard! :)
Vader: All it needs is a tiny naked Polish person, yes.

tei187: i dunno if it's that good or maybe i just like the way quant...
Vader: I see. Well, I'm hoping Naughty Dog comes up with something ...

Could it be...I don't fucking care?

And if you haven't brought it up, I would have completely forgotten about it, anyway. But I will never forget the bullshit they threw at us with the quad core processors and the tornadoes. Yeah, bring it on the pc, so we can pirate it, assholes.

I'd care for Red Dead Redemption for PC and that's about it.

For those that are playing Skyrim, a couple of interesting mods voice-command shortcuts using a microphone(there's one or two for Kinect as well I think)
Voice controlled shouts "Thuumic" http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3251

Vader: Nice, but how the hell did this get on the Alan Wake thread....
tei187: we will never know... but, then again, it happens often late...
WeAreAllGonnaDie: somehow i thought i posted this in the good morning thread.....
