Damnation Devs Laid Off

The creators of one of the worst games we've played in a long time -- Damnation -- have been fired. "The entire Blue Omega team was laid off today (well, starting Friday). If anyone has job openings, send them my way and I'll pass them on," wrote programmer Geoff Rowland on his Twitter account.
What's more, documents dug up by Shack show a messy legal situation between Codemasters, Blue Omega and two subcontractors – Velvetelvis Studios and Point of View. Apparently, Codemasters removed the Blue Omega from development duties, while Point of View continued working on the project, prompting a $75,000 lawsuit from Blue Omega.
Figures. What a waste of time and money for everyone who had the misfortune of getting involved (not to mention to people who actually spent money on this disaster of game).
