Dark Souls 2 PC Suffers One Month Delay?

According to a bit of promotional material, dug up by Siliconeera, the PC edition of From Software's action RPG Dark Souls 2 will most likely be pushed back to April 25, as opposed to its initial launch date - March 11 (the same day it's meant to come out for PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms).

The official launch date of the PC edition has yet to be confirmed by both Namco and From Software. Also, this marketing image was intended for the Southeast Asia regions. Still, it does suggest that this could be the publisher's release target

Thanks CVG for the heads-up.

Pretty sure I've heard PC release will be delayed month or two before this piece of info.

Anyway, what's a month?

Eh.

Considering how many "published beta" releases AAA companies sell to us lately, I'm *glad* these guys are (assumedly) taking the time to QC their work before releasing it to the public.

They know the release date, they likely won't say a word of it until after the console versions are released.

Wouldn't surprise me. PC gamers don't get much love.

Just be happy it's coming out for the PC at all, and be happy it's only going to be one month delayed.

Recall that Dark Souls 1 on the PC came out almost A YEAR after the console versions hit, and that it was a very bare-bones port that ran its multiplayer through Games for Windows Live (ugh).

None of that is going to be true for the sequel, so we PC gamers should be grateful. We often get much shorter shrift.
