Today developer From Software and publisher Namco Bandai revealed that the international shipments for the RPG Dark Souls surpassed the 1.5 million mark. Here are the sales numbers, as divided according to region:

Japan: Released on 9/22, 370,000 shipped
North America: Released on 10/4, 620,000 shipped
Europe: Released on 10/7, 470,000 shipped
Asia: Released on 10/18, 40,000 shipped

Not bad at all. That makes for a pretty nice little score for the lads and ladies at From Software. Can't wait to see what they dish out next. Demon's Souls and Dark Souls were both terrific games and we are eager to see what these guys come up with next.

	Reply Outside of the terrible multiplayer (And I mean terrible because I can't join a friends game for some reason but I can join/summon other people), this game is ridiculously addicting. It's pretty much a "Single player" with slight mmo-ish features. The game feels like Raiding in WoW where you have to learn the fights and strategies.

	Reply i bought this game tonight. used. bringing it back tomorrow. think i'll keep waiting for skyrim. but at least it's no War in the North.

	Reply Arm yourself with patience, discipline, walkthroughs and a lot of free time if you're going to venture a try with this one. There's no sitting back, enjoying the cinematics with occasional QTE while you drink your fruit yogurt. It's non-stop action and if you lack the concentration, don't even start.
