Dark Souls to Steam, DLC for Console Versions

According to a report from VG247, the upcoming PC edition of the RPG Dark Souls is going to be available for purchase on Steam. It's still not known whether they plan to ditch Games For Windows Live or not.
What's more, the console versions of the game are going to get the Artorias of the Abyss downloadable content, which is going to be released with the PC edition. The price of the DLC is 1200 MS points for the 360 and 15 bucks on PS3.
The PC version is scheduled to arrive on August 24, 2012.

Reply If this happens, I will definitely pick up the PC version. Steam would work well with that game as long as they use the current patch (the 2nd official patch screwed online mode up, thankfully not for 360 players). |

Reply Hell fucking yeah. I played Demon's Souls on the PS3 but I never finished it. It's hard to go back to playing on inferior hardware so I didn't pick up Dark Souls. This is awesome news. These games are so much fun. Not for the impatient, though. |
