Diablo 3 Auction House to Accept Paypal
Filed under: BLIZZARD, DIABLO 3, PAYPAL

Blizzard officially confirms that the much-talked-about Diablo III auction house and Battle.net will be using Paypal (in most territories):

We're pleased to announce that in most regions, PayPal will be our payment-service partner for the Diablo III auction house, allowing players who trade with real-world currency the ability to cash out the spoils of their battle-torn adventures via a PayPal account.

PayPal will also soon be added in several regions as a payment option on Battle.net, providing another convenient and secure payment method for digital purchases of Blizzard products and services.

We’ll share region-related specifics, as well as further details on everything mentioned above, in the near future.
Stay tuned!

To be honest, I've lost interest in Diablo 3. Those fuckers at Blizzard want me to buy a game that MUST be online all the time? Fuck that man, it's fucking bullshit! They should let me play offline as a guest, just like Starcraft 2 does.
LostPcGamer: I agree just give me the last 2 sC2 expansions and dont pull...

Someone should just shit in a cup, label it Diablo 3 and mail it to Blizzard with a note saying this is what we think about your game.
  Neath: Already done so.

I wonder what Blizz will do with the 360 version of D3. If that version doesn't need online, then I will buy it.

Chances are I will still buy it, I mean, my internet is always on anyway. It's not really a problem for me.

However, the fact that they are actually making be online to play at all is the shittest marketing ploy I have ever heard of. Okay, they may be richer than... Donald Trump? but does that really mean they can afford to lose such a large player base? Because that's what has already happened, and the game isn't even out yet.

Lately it's just been bad decisions all round at Blizzard. I mean, why the fuck have they split Starcraft 2 into 3 sections? What is the point other than milk as much money out of long time fans as humanly possible. That move lost them a huge player base, and now they're doing it again? Something really stupid is going on at Blizzard HQ
