Don't Rule Out 'I Am Alive' On PC Just Yet
Filed under: I AM ALIVE, UBISOFT

If you've been following our news, you probably already know that the makers of the downloadable console game, I Am Alive, won't be making it to the PC. In fact, Stanislas Mettra, the game's creative director, recently pointed his finger at that foul whore piracy as the main reason behind the developer's move to avoid the PC platform entirely.

Mettra wrote a letter to Inc Gamers, saying that his English is not perfect and that his statement was misunderstood:

"What I meant is that the pc version did not happen yet [sic]. But we are still working to see the feasibility of it, which is not necessarily simple. I gave some examples to illustrate the problematic [sic], but obviously it is not in my hands and not my part to talk about this," he wrote.

Although this is not a confirmation of a PC version of I Am Alive, it's still good to know that they haven't dismissed the platform completely.

Is chance the good to be alive come on compute apparatus, just maybe, who knows ? Also, forgive for speaked up side down, in my country "die pc gamer, die" mean "if living sell good, can enjoy pc monies too".
Pardon, pardon, much respect derive, profound admiration all the time.

My friend Ghost Recon douche bag say to me to clarificate 9000% piracy number is just 5000%. Much excuse, sooo lot respecting.

It seems to me that LubriSoft peeps have a very poor attitude towards the PC crowd, what with all their DRM, and several of their senior staff bashing this market. When games like Skyrim, The Witcher 2 (which I bought DRM-free off GOG.com) sell in the millions, maybe it's not a problem with the market. YOU are the problem since you can't provide what people want, how they want it.

Can WE say that not making a PC version will "cost" them millions, just like THEY say piracy "costs" them millions? Money not gained is not the same as money lost. Well, this game may well turn out to be another generic POS anyways, in which case I will say poor management and development will have "COST" them a lot of money.

Make better games faggots, games that dont need patching as soon as they are released. Games that you can play for at least 20-30 hours in singleplayer. Make something new, innovate. Make me a game that I wont need to sell my kidney in order to buy a new rig to play your game! And so on and so on...bla bla bla...then I will buy more games. Until this happens, who the fuck gives a rats ass about this game?!

p.s. If any1 mentions me skyrim, know now...I will hunt you, I WILL find you and I will kill you...Jack Bauer style!

Would anyone like to trade sheep?

Sorry, I'm thinking of greater and more entertaining things than a recently developed Ubisoft game.

Yes, his grasp on the english language is what led him to pretty much say, "Fuck you, PC, you're a goddamn apocalyptic wasteland." Yes. It makes complete sense now.
