No, this is not related to The Matrix. The latest trailer for Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening shows a new character called the Architect:

"The Architect is the first darkspawn to develop a will of his own." The Architect is "an unusual outcast who seems not to be subject to the call of the Old Gods, nor to the other darkspawn compulsions."

	Reply Wow this is completely new! I mean, finally, something I haven;t seen from the original game! But I still wish they could pack more new stuff into the expansion pack. Unless they are planning on making a ton of expansion pack,s like a hundred of them .
