Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Revealed

During the ongoing Tokyo Game Show 2012, Japanese publisher Capcom revealed
that it plans to release a "major expansion" for their RPG, Dragon's
Dogma.
Dragon's Dogma is a tricky one. Despite of what many of us may think of it, the game managed to pull off the impossible - it successfully blended the schools of Western and Eastern RPGs.
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is heading to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms and will be available in 2013. Alas, Capcom was reluctant to reveal anything beyond that.
They did, however, release these in-game screenshots from the add-on:
In addition to this little teaser, which announces the update:
Oh and don't miss this kick-ass concept art, also courtesy of Capcom.

What do you mean by 'category'? Demon's Souls is, I think, a significantly better game than Dragon's Dogma.
If you mean that Dragon's Dogma blends JRPGs with western RPGs, I can see that. But I wouldn't say DeS and DS do that.
Aside from the usual refreshing dearth of overused Tolkien tropes typical of Japanese high-fantasy settings (perhaps the only thing I like about JRPGs), I don't consider DeS and DS JRPG-like at all. Those games blaze a whole new trail. And for that, other Japanese RPG developers should take notes.
