Square Enix informed us via press release that their recently released title, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, shipped 2 million copies in North America, across Europe and PAL territories since the game's launch last month. The game was developed by Eidos Montreal and is available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC platforms. After a delay, the devs promised to launch the in Japan this October.
Here's more info from Square Enix: "Revered by critics and gamers alike, with a Metacritic score of 89% for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC (at time of writing 8th Sept 2011), Deus Ex: Human Revolution offers players multiple and vastly different ways to play. Challenging the foundations of gaming, this video game provides an immersive experience where every choice has a lasting consequence. Deus Ex: Human Revolution weaves a deeply emotive and captivating story, taking place in the year 2027- a time of great innovation in neuroprosthetics, but also a time of chaos, conspiracy and a new social divide. Gamers play as Adam Jensen, a man cybernetically augmented against his own choice, who finds himself in the middle of a mysterious, global plot to which he holds the key."
Deus Ex: Human Revolution 'The Missing Link' (the game's first DLC) is going to arrive in October.
