Elder Scrolls MMOG Announcement Soon?

Rumors, rumors, rumors! We love rumors! While we can't confirm any details on Snooki's pregnancy (Vader looks around nervously and changes the topic whenever we bring the subject up) here is one rumor we hope is true. Tom's Hardware has a story that Bethesda and ZeniMax Online Studios will officially announce Elder Scrolls Online in May.

The idea that the addicting gameplay of Skyrim in a multiplayer environment is something fans have been hoping to see for a long time now. We'll have to wait and see if there is anything to this rumor. And if Vader is going to have to cough up child support anytime soon.

Small correction: this one's being developed by Mojang and published by The Older Scrolls. It's a common misconception due to the similarity in names with The Other Scrolls: Craft My Mine Up.

Why not? If a game is highly successful, it's only natural to cash on that, and the best way is to MMO it. What took them so long indeed.

It's old news as they were hiring for mmo staff last year.They even built a new studio. I'm surprised it's not a fallout mmo as they sued interplay over it.

Don't worry Bethesda will still make sp games.
