Game of the Year 2012 - People's Choice
Uros "Vader" Pavlovic
06:56 am EDT @ December 06th, 2012
Think carefully before casting your votes, folks. Yes, it's time to pick the
best title of the year 2012.
There are 40 games up there and I'm sure you've had a chance to try most of them.
Naturally, there are a lot of titles that didn't make it into the poll, for several reasons. One of the main reasons, of course, is the fact that they're pure crap (think Ninja Gaiden 3, which didn't make it into the poll, because it never before has a game so effectively screwed with its own legacy). Other games were included simply because of the popularity of the franchise (the new Medal of Honor game, for instance, even though, by rights, that one should be tossed into bargain bin of oblivion).
Without much further ado, here are the games of 2012:

VOTING POLL
Are you excited about Call of Duty: Ghosts?
TOTAL VOTES 2,368
| Nah. | 41.51% |
| Only if they bring something truly fresh to the series. | 34.76% |
| Hell, yes! Can't wait! | 23.73% |

Errr....not on the list... Go fuck yourself!
the reasoning behind is thus: these games managed not only to break through scepticism but also managed to be fun beyond a single playthrough even weeks or months later.
MARK OF THE NINJA FTW!! :D
Well, anyway I voted for FIFA13 because it's the same fucking game in the last 20 years so at least I know what I'm voting for...Vader you should put some neutral option up there for sad fucks like me.
- Torchlight 2 (very handily) blew away my sadness from Diablo 3,
- Far Cry 3 is exceeding all my expectations (and making me realize I finally need to upgrade my GPU)
- XCom has brought me kicking, screaming and SMILING back into the fold of turn-based strategy,
- Dishonored really took me by (pleasant!) surprise, and
- Borderlands 2 is an ongoing BLAST, but
Really? The Walking Dead is the only game that moved me to tears, multiple times throughout its "episodes". It's more than a game - it is truly an experience to be savored and remembered.
It should, at the very least, garner Game of the Year.
Ass Creed 3 was a pile of console shit.
because not every game has to be about loot-exp-guns
More story's deserve what telltale did for the walking dead. Hope they made butt-loads of money off of it
EDIT: right after voting FC3 is at the top. seriously? this game just came out.JUST came out. you people need to quit dick riding.sit back and really think (even if im not playing the game anymore) which one really deserves GOTY. sorry but FC3 just flipping came out. it hasent earned shit aside from a few patches.
