Gearbox Software, who's recent titles include the solid Borderlands 2 and the unbelievably crappy Aliens: Colonial Marines, have shows up at this year's PAX and confirmed that the development studio has two next-generation titles in the making.
The company head honcho Randy Pitchford said that these titles denote both new and original IPs, promising that will be allowed access to the games via forthcoming betas at the Community Day.
The Gearbox Community Day is slated for September 14 in Dallas, Texas. Nothing else was said on the matter, but the studio did announce Homeworld: Shipbreakers, their first original Homeworld game since they purchased the rights from THQ.
