Rockstar Games has confirmed that their next addition to the GTA series -- Grand Theft Auto 5 -- will be available for purchase during Spring 2013 (for 360 and PS3, of course). Here's the official word, as posted on Rockstar's web site:

Today, we're proud to announce that Grand Theft Auto V is expected to launch worldwide spring 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Developed by series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto V takes place in a re-imagined, present-day Southern California in the largest and most thriving game-world we have ever created set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and for miles beyond ' from the tops of the mountains to the depths of the ocean.

Starting next week November 5, 2012, Grand Theft Auto V will become available for pre-order everywhere and fans can expect a host of new information to become available in November.

"Grand Theft Auto V builds on everything we've learned about open world game design," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. "We can't wait to share it with fans."

	Reply Goddamn it. Delayed PC version again. I was hoping it would come out at the same time. Oh well. I guess we'll get another shitty port in 2014 :(.

	Reply They are working on a PC version but cant give a fuck about giving PC buyers any info. The consoles come first as usual. This the official response on the rockstar boards.- "Hey guys, glad to see so much enthusiasm about the release announcement. For those asking about the PC platform, we're currently focused on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game and don't have any details to share about a PC version at this time. Anyone that continues to spam the comments section will have their commenting privileges suspended."

	Reply Rockstar gets way too much cash from Mic and Sony to speak of a PC one so soon. Although I think Rockstar should've waited a couple more years for a new generation of consoles to come out. Xbox 360 is weak as shit today. PS3 is too, although in a different way. Maybe the port won't be so shitty this time around (although my experience with GTAIV was grand compared to others, I guess).
