Just saw it in IMAX 3D. Top notch sfx. Seriously, technically, it's flawless. However, I felt there was no tension. None.

Not sure if it was the actress (not a big Sandra Bullock fan) or the script, but it felt tame and killed the experience for me. It was like watching a Discovery documentary or an episode of a tv series.

I enjoyed Sunshine a lot more, Europa Report too, even though they were sci-fi flicks. Hell, I loved Dead Space. Too bad, I had high hopes for this one. Hmm :/

Disagree. I don't like Sandra Bullock either, but man I felt the tension.

Not that I don't like her. She's okay. Just not a huge fan. Still, I think she's great in this movie.

She did a good job in it and I'm glad people enjoyed the movie. I remember liking Children of men too. Alfonso CuarĂ³n is once again on my radar.

It wasn't the terrifying movie the trailers made it seem like it would be. I almost didn't see it, because I don't like terrifying movies. But it wasn't terrifying. It was just intense. Like a roller coaster. I really liked it.

3D definitely watch this in 3D, folks. Preferably IMAX.

One helluva ride, this one. :)

From trailer and synopsis on IMDB it looks like 2 hours of watching a chick float helpless in space (how long can you survive disconnected from a space shuttle, btw?)
Now, my two questions are: does Clooney gets to operate someone and does Bullock get into a swimsuit? These are very crucial and might change my mind to go and see it.
