Grim Fandango Retrospective

Sony's press conference during the E3 2014 brought a lot of exciting news, but the development of a remastered version of Grim Fandango was definitely the one in our crosshairs. That's right, Double Fine Productions are going back to the classic adventure (because LucasArts let them) and are now making an enhanced version of it. While we're at it, you might want to have a look at this little Grim Fandango Retrospective:

Grim Fandango was truly a masterpiece of it's era and it certainly merits some modernisation and releasing to a new audience.
It would be great if All the old Lucasarts adventures were given over to Doublefine for re-release. The Dig & Full Throttle are both great candidates for me.

I don't see the point. What are they going to do? Make Calavera with a photo-realistic skull?

I loved Grim Fandango when it came out, and I actually went back to it to try to finish it a couple years ago... it was still funny but not awesome like it was back in 98. But a new generation of players might like it.

Oh, and while Lucasarts is getting into refreshes and up-rez games, how about some X-Wing or Tie Fighter re-releases? Buttheads
