Rockstar Games' upcoming action adventure Grand Theft Auto 5 won't be showcased during the upcoming Gamescom in Germany.
"Rockstar Games is not scheduled and has never been scheduled to exhibit at Gamescom 2012," reveals Franko Fischer, communications manager of Gamescom's organising body Koelnmesse. Apparently, all GTA V footage has been removed from the Gamescom trailer. "We apologise for any confusion this may have caused," he continued.
Hm, well Rockstar must know what they are doing. Besides, something tells me that they had a demo, but have only just realized that it's not properly polished for a playable demo. At any rate, we hope to get more info and media in the future, but as far as Gamescom goes, GTA 5 is a no-show.
