GTA V Delayed to September

Bugger! Rockstar Games sends along a press release, uncovering that Grand Theft Auto V is now expected to launch worldwide for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 17, 2013.

“Grand Theft Auto V continues to push the series forward in new ways; Rockstar North are creating our deepest, most beautiful and most immersive world yet,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We are very excited for people to learn more about the game in the coming months.”

Here's a bit more info about the game: "Los Santos: a sprawling sun-soaked metropolis full of self-help gurus, starlets and fading celebrities, once the envy of the Western world, now struggling to stay afloat in an era of economic uncertainty and cheap reality TV. Amidst the turmoil, three very different criminals plot their own chances of survival and success: Franklin, a former street gangster, now looking for real opportunities and serious money; Michael, a professional ex-con whose retirement is a lot less rosy than he hoped it would be; and Trevor, a violent maniac driven by the chance of a cheap high and the next big score. Running out of options, the crew risks everything in a series of daring and dangerous heists that could set them up for life."

Hm, on second thought, I'd prefer a delay if that's what it takes to deliver a better game.

I don't care if they release it on PC or not, it'll be another shit, unoptimized port again.
The GTA 3d games are massively over rated.

The PC versions of the GTA games have a pretty large fanbase. Unquestionably, GTA 5 will be ported on the PC, maybe somewhere in 2014. And for all the shit they've got thrown at them for the GTA 4 port, hopefully they'll do a better job this time.

Why should we be surprised?

Guess its some extra time to iron out bugs and put the large amount of fun back into the game. Or not.

And yeah, PC port and shit.

I don't understand why everyone rants about this supposed bad port of GTA 4. I had it since the launch on PC, and had never had problems with it. Maybe it wasn't optimized for shite PCs, but on mine worked very well

Compared to GTA3, GTA VC and GTA SA, GTA 4 was a shitty port. The initial build was ridden with performance issues even on a high end rig. And lets not even talk about that garbage called Social Club.

Other than performance, I thought IV was a great port, loved the controls and aiming etc. , but yeah, the performance was bad, especially at the beginning.
