The folks over at ArenaNet and NCSoft have announced that the recently launched MMORPG, Guild Wars 2, sold over 2 million units.

"Despite temporarily halting first-party sales and replenishing retail stores to maintain an optimal player experience, Guild Wars 2 surpassed the two million sales milestone shortly after turning sales back on," as revealed by NCSoft.

This a pretty good figure and congrats to the hardworking folk at ArenaNet.

	Reply If your into PVP then go and buy it right now. If you want it for the PVE aka quests, personal story then don't buy it. It's a complete turd in that department. A very streamlined, polished, with great art design turd, but a turd nonetheless. You do the same shit in each map. After 2 maps you can safely say that you've seen all the hearts and events in game. The other ones are just reskined. And the personal story ..... its crap.

	Reply Guild Wars 2 isn't that innovative. It's definitely not as innovative as it needs to be. It's still better than WoW. Whatever the case, they've made bank so it's time for Australian servers.

	Reply It may not be revolutionary, but it does a lot of things right and I'm finding it rather enjoyable. The biggest thing though is the lack of any monthly fees. The fact I may get bored of it next week isn't a big deal if I can pick it up again in 4 months and not have to dig back into my wallet. I can just pick up where I left off. That alone makes it better than WoW and every other MMORPG.

	Reply Different strokes for different folks. No game is going to please everyone and no game is perfect. Play what you like and move on from the ones that don't interest you, simple as that. Stardust does make one good point I think applies to all titles: The playable demo needs to make a come back.
