Halo: Reach Beats Every Other Game in the UK

As expected, in United Kingdom Halo: Reach blows every other title out of the water when it comes to sales. Games that were in the top of the UK weekly chart are now pushed down by Bungie's recently launched shooter.

Halo: Reach sold 330,000 copies in that particular region and also generated $200 million globally in the first 24h on sale.

Here's the UK sales chart for last week:

1. Halo Reach (Microsoft)
2. Sports Champions (Sony)
3. Mafia II (Take-Two)
4. Toy Story 3 (Disney)
5. Prince Of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (Ubisoft)
6. Tom Clancy's HAWX 2 (Ubisoft)
7. Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days (Square Enix) (Square Enix)
8. Just Dance (Ubisoft)
9. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 (EA)
10. Red Dead Redemption (Rockstar)

I'm quite enjoying Halo: Reach. Of the shooters in the franchise, it's either my second or third favourite overall. Need to play it more to get my final impressions.

I only had a chance to play it for a few hours on splitscreen co-op, legendary difficulty - and it is awesome! You really enjoy every battle with the covenant that you walk victoriously away from.

I find myself missing "iron sight" aiming sorely, though. It has been so longs since I last played Halo that I forgot they didn't have that feature. :-/

I have only recently (like today) started playing Reach and i must say, the game is engaging. Not mindblowingly awesome but very engaging. Tight gameplay, brilliant controls and excellently choreographed set pieces.

I cannot wait to see what Bungie comes up with next.

I broke down and bought it Friday night, been playing over the weekend. This is the first console game I have purchased new in a LONG time. I likes it.

Firefight is ok but the screaming 13 year olds are kicking my ass.
