Killzone 3 Gets Release Date

According to a report over at VG247, the PS3-only shooter sequel Killzone 3 is now scheduled to arrive to stores on February 22, 2011.

The only thing left for me to do in this instance is to buy a PS3. Uncharted 1 and Uncharted 2 are so far the only titles that, in my opinion, justify buying a PlayStation 3 console. Okay, and Killzone 2, of course. It's an excellent shooter, really it is. Oh yeah and God of War III, definitely God of War III. That's one major title any gamers should experience.

As far as Killzone 3 goes, I'm honestly looking forward to it.

	Reply I don't buy many PS3 titles as I favour the PC over it but after playing Killzone 2 the third outing is definitely on my buy list subject to good reviews of course.

	Reply Coming from the 360, i found controls on the PS3 for KZ2 very awkward. I couldn't not aim properly at all. Clicking the stick to zoom is ridiculous.

	Reply Uncharted 2 was bloody fantastic, Killzone 2 was good, Uncharted 1 was above average, and God of War 3 is grossly overrated (Sony achieved their own mass brain-washing marketing phenomenon with that franchise, akin to MS's Halo... we'll see how good Sony Santa Monica really is with their next IP).
