Microsoft has just made an official announcement that they intend to bring
their gamepad-free motion control gaming device Kinect to PCs. The launch for
Kinect PC is slated for next month, as revealed by MS during the ongoing Consumer
Electronics Show. "I'm thrilled to announce that Kinect is coming to Windows
on February 1," said Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer.
Kinect for PC will be available for $249,99/195€ and will initially launch only in North America, United Kingdom, France, Japan, Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand and Spain.
In related news, Microsoft also revealed that the company has sold over 66 million Xbox 360 consoles and 18 million Kinect units.

I want to see what this will be like considering most people do not own an extremely large monitor.
Seriously, go choke on a cock MS no one is gonna go for that crap. My 360 is in backpack in my closet and has not been touched since that last AWEFULL system update. I am ready to add my 360 games to the backpack and go to gamestop and trade up for PS3.
It's not like they're bundling it with all future Windows packages at extra mandatory cost or something.
Anyway, I really never expected Kinect to be so much more successful than Move. Sure, the latter is a blatant and derivative Wii rip-off, and Kinect actually tries to do something new... but the price-point, I was certain, made Kinect a doomed product. I was very wrong, obviously.
