Square Enix has already confirmed what is sure to be their first HD collection release for Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX, in Japan for March 14th. The collection was most likely going to cross the Pacific ocean eventually, but today we've gotten confirmation that it will definitely happen this year. This collection contains HD remixes of the first Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, and cinematic scenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. And it will head to North America this fall, just in time for the next-gen console releases.

As much as it angers me that Square Enix is half-assing the HD collection in this manner, I'm going to continue to be part of the problem and pick it up. Any other hardcore KH fans out there with me?
