Mass Effect 2 Hits PS3 in January 2011

Early news from this year's Gamescom just indicated that BioWare and EA are developing PlayStation 3 version of the successful 360 and PC game, Mass Effect 2.

No details were given, apart from the January 2011 release date.

	Reply So wait they aren't bringing the arguably better game to the PS3? To be honest, I enjoyed ME1 more than ME2, although ME2 was still a good game, but the dumbed down rpg mechanics really turned me off.

	Reply this is only because Mass Effect 3 will also ship to the PS3 and it uses the same Unreal3 engine (this port is a free ride for EA)

	Reply You gotta be kidding me. They are sending ME2 to the PS3, but not ME1? Please, Mass Effect 1 is MUCH better than ME2. Stupid Bioware watered down ME2, just like they are watering down Dragon Age 2.

	Reply @Sleek hmm, everyone who only owns a PS3 also own a PC (so they've played it already) also if you own a PS3/xbox360 why go for the mediocre console version when you can get it 50% cheaper on the PC.
