Mass Effect 2 'Lair of the Shadow Broker' Trailer
Lair of the Shadow Broker, BioWare's latest dose of DLC for Mass Effect 2, is set to arrive on Tuesday next week (Sept. 7). Meanwhile, they've sent along this nice little trailer:

Here's a reminder of what this DLC is about: "Here's what the DLC is all about: "Liara T'Soni is tracking down the mysterious Shadow Broker, and no one is safe. She'll do anything to recover the man the Broker kidnapped... and the Shadow Broker's agents will do anything to stop her. Team up with Liara and chase clues from the luxurious heights of Illium to the Shadow Broker's own secret lair. Adds the Shadow Broker intel center, new research, and five new achievements – and the chance to continue a relationship with Liara."

They're becoming really good at this milking business. I guess having no conscience must be helpful when you're trying to get ahead in life.

I guess we shouldn't be surprised. Bioware belongs to EA now, and as we all know, EA is the master of milking.

It's only like the 3rd DLC they've released since the game was released like a year ago.

People bitch and complain when a game doesn't get support (L4D) and claim that the company doesn't care, then they bitch and complain when it DOES get support, because they're greedy. MAKE UP YOUR MIND!

"Support" ? More like blackmail. We have to pay extra to be able to see the outcome of an important side quest that we've been teased with since the first game. They start us on an adventure and halfway through they end it with "to be continued". Continued how ? Through DLC of course. It's a cheap trick and you're probably smart enough to know it. So why do you pretend it's ok ?

Mass Effect has popularized the concept of transferring decisions made from the last game and made an intriguing storyline based on the reaction to such decisions. They will have my full support.

On the other hand, Mafia II is a really gangster by blackmailing the known PC gamers world. The city feels so empty but full of potentials screaming for DLCsss!!! Shame on them 2K.

I recall Liara having dealed with the Broker in attempt to recover Shepards body after that lovely intro. That was the point, anyways...it's been a long time (A year if anything) since I've played that game so I guess it's time I have another go at it.
