For a while now, it has been known that Konami Japan started giving out codes for the Japanese beta, but in order to keep it local, they've locked out gamers from other regions, so they cannot gain access to the official site. Well, now Konami says that it's going to announce plans for the European Metal Gear Online beta "shortly."
