During last year's Tokyo Game Show, Konami mentioned that Metal Gear Online is being prepared as part of the Metal Gear Solid 4 package for the PS3.

These days the company has been suggesting that MGO could very well be a stand-alone deal, but given the heavy competition out there (think CoD4 and similar games) it seems more likely that they'll be fitting the game together with Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

Also, Konami just released new in-game snaps from Metal Gear Online, so you can check 'em out if you wish - those catapults are supposedly going to be a huge hit (yeah, whatever).
