Microsoft Sold 70 Million 360s So Far

Publisher and hardware manufacturer Microsoft is spreading the word that, as of September 30, 2012, the company sold 70 million units of their Xbox 360 console (since the console's launch).
Meanwhile, PS3 lifetime sales have reached 63.9 million units (as of March 31, 2012) and Wii lifetime sales were marked at 96.56 million units (as of June 30).
Now, I may have said this many, many times before, but the bloody console war never ends. Does it? It's always about the numbers, although, as history proved several times, Nintendo still comes out on top. We'll see how long that'll last. And we mustn't forget that Apple is in the race now as well.

Heck in my household alone we been through 5 Xbox 360's while everyone I know have been through at least 3 or 4, and one person is on his 7th (long gaming marathons ).
Heck I even created an intake cooler for them.
When people know the truth about how awful the quality and reliability was on the non slim models of the 360 that large number means squat
Or in other words, don't be a careless idiot.
The one RRoD I got, was because I unknowingly left the console turned on and running for a couple of months straight during a period I wasn't gaming with it at all. So that was obviously my fault.
