Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has seen immense success on the Xbox Live Arcade since it launched last May, achieving over 5 million sold in 2012. To help sell even more copies of the game, a retail version is coming to store shelves in North America on April 30th for $19.99.
This packaged copy of Minecraft for Xbox 360 includes all the exact same features and content you'd find in the digital version, as well as everything being added with the upcoming ninth title update. Going forward, the retail copy will then have access to the same content and updates as the download does, while also allowing multiplayer functionality between the XBLA and retail version.
Everyone in Australia, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore, and Taiwan can expect the game in early June.

Retail editions are great gifts for birthdays, don't know why they still haven't brought the PC version's prepaid cards to EU, doesn't make any sense.
