Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg just confirmed that Modern Warfare 3 "drove the largest day one shipments in our history and in the industry's history." Also, "pre-orders for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 outpaced pre-orders for Call of Duty: Black Ops by a wide margin, setting a new industry record in making it the most pre-ordered game of all time" (thanks PCG).

"'As we focus on 2012, we have a strong product pipeline which features a minimum of two highly-anticipated new titles from Blizzard Entertainment, including Diablo III, and a new Call of Duty game from Activision Publishing,' Activision CEO Bobby Kotick said in a statement accompanying the publisher's quarterly report. Beyond Diablo III, Blizzard has an assortment of projects in the works, including the World of Warcraft expansion Mists of Pandaria, Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm, Blizzard DOTA, and a still-unannounced massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed under the code-name Titan," reports GSpot.

Activision also revealed its latest financial, indicated that the company also has plans to launch a brand new Call of Duty game during 2012 (it never ends, does it?).

	Reply I read on the interwebs that the Elite registration system is getting ass pounded with traffic. Watch them up the price of Elite on the next version to $100. Oh... and just wait. You know some massive honking map pack DLC will be available for purchase immediately after your sub expires.

	Reply Must say that BF3 is miles ahead of MW3 in both graphics, sound and feeling. Playing MW3 SP after playing BF3 just made me sigh. The sounds and 'feeling' (more like, lack of) of the weapons in MW3 are quite frankly, shit. Especially when compared to BF3. They don't even feel like weapons in MW3. Crap. Crap. (And I don't even think BF3 is THAT good, sp is rather standard Cod-inspired etc. but the sounds and powerful feeling of the weapons is bloody brilliant)

	Reply Modern Warfare is a freaking day time soap opera. In MW2, Capt. Price is still alive, WTF?! I uninstalled MW2 right after I saw his face. Someone told me that there was a traitor among them. WTF?! Really? No money for you MW3. Batman is holding the money. Let us see you take it from him...
