Molyneux's Godus Prototype Today
Uros "Vader" Pavlovic
07:15 am EDT @ December 14th, 2012

Remember Godus? Now, although most of us are inclined to think that this is just another one of Molyneux's ideas never materializes exactly how the game designer describes it would. This time, of course, the idea is to bring a Populous-like god game and according to Molyneux "a prototype" of the game should be available today for PC and mobile download.
"I've seen the prototype, I've actually played it... I've got a few changes I'd like to be made, but the progress has been pretty constant, so Friday is going to be the time when we show the rest of the world what the prototype is," Molyneux says.
"[The prototype] is not the most beautiful piece of computer interaction ever, but you knead it and you touch it and you get the idea that sculpting the landscape is amazing, seeing things react in the landscape is incredible, and it's definitely going to work," Molyneux says.

Reply I really like the artstyle in those mockups, if they refine that for the final product it'll at least look nice. Just remains to be seen if Mr Molyneux can actually deliver what he promises this time. |

Reply Yeah the art style is cool. I agree. I just want a proper single-player game for PC tho. Not a bullshit PC port from iPad. |
