More Battlefield Heroes Details
About two weeks ago, EA announced it is giving a new look to its ever-popular Battlefield license with Battlefield Heroes, a cartoon-ish shooter and the flagship title for the company's free to play business model. There were some uncertainties whether the game will be 3rd person or in first-person only, in addition to rumors about the game not making it to the Australian market. Eventually, it was confirmed that BF Heroes will feature both 3rd person and first-person perspectives and that it will be accessible to Australian gamers after all.

Anyhow, the latest developer blog on game's official web site now features more details about the game. Here's a quick summary on where the developers are going with the project:

  • BF Heroes utilizes the BF2142 engine
  • Low system requirements (we expected as much)
  • RPG elements
  • Crazy unrealistic feel similar to BF1942
  • Quicker learning curve
  • Remain true to core BF elements
