We've been talking a lot about indie games lately. From what people tell me, Eschalon is pretty good. Did anyone give it a try?

Fringe that's what! This show just freaking blows my mind wiht every episode. The theme is no way logical but in the universe they have created everything just makes sence!
Then again, GOG just added Baldur's Gate II to their inventory so...
Great story you are a girl going to London to the Daedalus club a secret magicians club(yeah it's so secret she knows about it) but you end up as an assistant for a neurobiologist.When things get tough you get to do some pretty neat magic tricks and solve riddles so called 'games' so that you can enter the daedalus club.Also you find out some pretty interesting rumours about this doctor you are working for Dr.Styles a car accident kills his wife and scars him for life now he is obsessed with bringing her back through experiment that study the brain.
Nice graphics and art style for the cutscenes atmospheric classic music masterful voice acting.What more could you want if you are an adventure fan and yourn for the golden age of point and click adventure games this is for you.
An improvement over Drakensang the Dark Eye
I'd give it an 8 out of 10.
