Some of the most memorable soundtracks in the history of gaming - I'm referring to the music from the Halo trilogy. I keep listening to some of the tracks while I work, but it's been a while since I heard this one. Oh and this has absolutely nothing to do with any kind of Halo or Master Chief fetish. It's merely appreciating good music.

Soundtracks? Red Alert 2 and Unreal Tournament are my favourite.

- Both Baldur's Gate games (Hoenig)

- Both Icewind Dale games (Soule, Zur)

- Hitman: Blood Money (Kyd)

- American McGee's Alice (Vrenna)

Those are the best soundtracks in gaming history, as far as I'm concerned.

Halo's music is pretty good, but I don't consider it in that tip-top tier I just mentioned. I rank Halo alongside the soundtracks of Half-Life 1/2 and PS: Torment, and somewhat below Freedom Fighters and Hitman: Contracts.

(yes, I have .mp3 libraries of all these soundtracks)

Ah yes, well, in the gaming world, Jeremy Soule is one of the greats.

Morning. Dragon Age 1 has some of my favorite music. The Dues Ex 3 trailers have killer music too!

The Halo franchise as a whole thus far has had excellent soundtracks. I own and enjoy them all.

Far too many amazing soundtracks to mention, but my favorite one remains Divine Divinity, followed closely by Alice. Some of the most interesting music ever created comes from video games. Niiice !

*sigh* Remember when the Neverwinter Nights stuff was hacked? Well I just got an E-Mail from EA, and my info has been compromised too. I had to change everything tonight. Thankfully I didn't have any credit card info in there, or those bastards would be spending some $$$ right now :(

Bill Brown's L2 soundtrack > all. And his C&C Generals soundtrack. And Jeremy Soule's CoH soundtrack was great when it came out, but I've been listening to it in-game for four freaking years....

Tsk, missed on this soundtrack convo. Anyhow, rather than mention great soundtracks most already know about, I'll bring up a more obscure one: Battle Realms, anyone?
Not the best, but it's certainly catchy and unique, personally speaking.
Emperor: Battle for Dune, on the other hand, definitely one of my most favored.

Never was big on Halo's.
