	Reply Because Tobey Maguire is a good actor but doesn't fit well in the shoes of Peter Parker. And this boy, whatever his name is, would be off "shoeless". They probably wanna make a Peter Parker in concordance with today's youth. So he doesn't look like the Peter Parker or Spiderman I was watching in the old cartoons or marvel comics. He wasn't such a complaining douche either. I'll give you an example of an actor who fits perfectly as a marvel character. And that's Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark.
