Is it just me or is Hollywood becoming more generic and dull than ever. I mean just look at these stories.

Seven Psychopaths

The Iceman

1. Funny things happening to psychopaths and mobsters.

2. A brutal Hitman with a soft heart.

Just swell. Never seen movies quite like those. Brilliant.

Oh and incidentally, folks, just hope you like the new version of the SB player that features some proper enhancements, along with various cool goodies and better integrated social network sharing options etc. Hope you enjoy it (it's courtesy of the fine boys and girls at the Springboard team).

	Reply It's easy to look at the movie industry as boring and repetitive but every industry is like that. Every one in a while you get brilliance but most is garbage. From board games through beer to cars. Music as a massive example . And it's good for the masses as well. But then you have scorsese and Jim jarmusch and Darren aronofsky and tarantino etc etc who give us the random gems we like so much. Personal note - if you haven't seen The Fountain by Darren Aronofsky, go watch it now.

	Reply Actually The Iceman is based off of a real contract killer, one of the most notorious in history. That dude was far from someone who had a heart, just watch the documentary "The Iceman and the Psychologist". It's just this psychologist interviewing him while he talks about his murders. Dude was fucked up in the head.

HOWEVER, "the iceman" is based on a true story. seen a documentary about this guy a few years ago and as far as anyone cares about my opinion - this movie can actually be good. ... aw fk wait, it's hollywood. OF COURSE IT'S GOING TO FKN SUCK! they'll butcher the facts and any sort of true history just to "spice up" the script. DOH!
