The Gods of the Internet were not particularly kind to us today and have failed to bless us with mighty bandwidthage. This is the main reason why we're late with our usual updates.

Anyhow, we're continuing work on our Game of the Year feature and I encourage you guys to vote for what you consider to be the best release in 2012.

Far Cry 3 still confidently leads the pack, ahead of Assassin's Creed 3 and Mass Effect 3. Borderlands 2 not doing to bad there, but I'm really surprised Black Ops 2 and Dishonored are that far down the list. Not to mention excellent games like XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Diablo 3.

	Reply While there is no doubt Farcry 3 is a great game. Its the one most fresh in peoples minds so its likely to do well. As is common doing top 10 things this time of year.But Yeah I think borderlands 2 deserves it alot more.

	Reply Morning, I'm a little suprised that Dishonored and Borderlands 2 are so far off. It would be interedting to see how the votes would breakdown if it was based on format. I'd wager PC owners would rank Dishonored higher than console owners would.

	Reply Is it something wrong with my browser (latest Firefox version) or the voting poll is broken? When I select a game and click Vote it refreshes and it's not showing the results but it gives me the radio buttons again, I tried 10 times to do the same and it's not working.

	Reply diablo 3 is the only game i actualy liked on this list. and x com is the only one i'm intersted in i dont think diablo deserves goty, as the replay value is lower then i expected, as expected

	Reply What about Darksiders? I remember how you folks here used to praise it, but now I don't hear a single word about it. How comes? And I wonder who are the people that vote for the new NfS. They probably haven't played NfSU2, or something. I'm a fan of the franchise (or at least I used to be) and I play like every racing game that comes out, but the new Most Wanted just sucks. The Run had some good atmosphere in the very least, I can't name one poisitive thing this new one.

	Reply x-com, brothers and sister... x-com all the way. i dunno if it's the sentiment towards the classic or maybe it really was that fun to play. sure - some problems here and there (like the difficulty settings not making much sense, imho) but those were minor issues. didn't have that much fun with a game for a long time.
