So what about all this Chivalry craze, guys? How many of you have actually tried it. It doesn't even look that bad and it even seems tremendously fun at the same time.
Dev talking about the game: "All you wanna do is kill people."
Yeah, I get that :)
Anyway, for a game that started modestly on Kickstarter, they've done pretty well.

I tried it over the free weekend on Steam. I felt the controls were very clunky and the game overall felt like a mod rather than a full on release. I can see why some people enjoy it, but I always find fps melee to be awkward and unsatisfying.
Best one I played I think was Die by the Sword where you directly controlled the swing of your weapon with the mouse (although now I think of it that might have been a 3rd person game).
Don't ask me nothin
I ain't telling you shit
Anyway, morning, and yeah I played Chivalry. It's quite a lot of fun when you get into it, and it has quite a deep but accessible fighting system. The only thing is, you can barely use the fine tricks it offers, cuz most people just run around and mindlessly wawing their axe or something.

Heard good things. Will try maybe after backlog is somewhat cleared. Good for them, getting a successful (and working) thing out of the kickstarter.
