Damn! I've had this dry cough for over a week now and it's starting to annoy the crap out of me. No matter what I try, it just won't go away.

And other exciting news, you guys buy anything during this summer's Steam sale?

Some warm green tea with herbs does the trick for me! And staying away from oily and cold eatables! :)

Got on a shopping-spree with my remaining valuable TF2 items and got Civilization 5 gold, Surgeon Simulator, Lego LoTR, Grid and Mark of the Ninja just by trading with people on Steam. I think I haven't spent more than 10eur on this year's summer sale :D

amusing yet sad how the previous morning post debate was so full of tension and contradictory shout contests.

in the end, everyone had valid point to make however the form it took was simply black or white.
happiness or suffering, whatever a person feels or has felt is subjective. any objectivity is merely a 3rd party perspective based on context. i say that not because i refute anyone's claim to his or her truth but because the whole comparison chain is nearly never-ending.

also, notice how a debate about ideas like science, medicine, biology, physics is easily balanced but when a debate is focused on something that has people at its core, the whole thing blows out of proportion.

There's no such thing as a long term happiness or fulfillment or however you wanna call it. If that was ever the case, you wouldn't need to change anything. And our entire lives is based on change. It is that simple.

No matter what position a person has in society, he can never be in content with himself. He will always strive for change and betterness. So, saying that "hey, it could be worse" it is completely redundant.

Actually, this entire subject that was discussed, it is a complete madness if you really think about it. Too much fragility and inconsistency...
