How many of you think you'll stop playing games in future? Do you think that the kid inside you will give in and become a lepidopterist? Do you think the kid will wither away and turn towards golf and big-game hunting? Do you even speak to the kid anymore? Hm, I'm not the only one who keeps hearing the kid am I? Oh crap, I am aren't I? Maybe it's Alma...

I will always play games. Not because addiction or anything but because it has been proven to keep the person sharp and reactive instead of becoming a senile moth infested ball sack...

Also, if you are hearing Alma... Please stay on her good side, give her cookies...

Cookies!!! How didn't I think of that? Thanks man.

Not all games keep a person sharp. I'm sure you agree.

I love playing games. I'd like to think I'd always play, but you know, I can't tell what family life will be like. I still try to gather friends every now and again, like once or twice a month to play tekken, pro evolution or heroes of might and magic, and it's been going for years.
I'd always love a good adventure game (monkey island style) on a saturday morning. accompanied by a trusty (or not so trusty big ass) joint, it's a wonderful time well spent.

Morning,

I don't think I'll stop playing games, but the types of games I play are certainly changing. I've gone off competitive FPS games and I don't have the time for really long games either.

free to play, pre-orders, DLC, year after year of alpha builds, online DRM, subscriptions....

ohh yeah, playing games feels so fulfilling lately.

do you hear that ? it's the sound of anuses being stretched to accommodate the thrusting fist of marketing.

Mornin'

I am planning to send the wife back to her home every 3 months so i can get some time to play the games I missed... Not many of them games as I am not really into all these new ones. Just the ones that are continuing from the past ones like Starcraft, Diablo, SWTOR, Mirror's Edge, Dragon Age, The Witcher, Mass Effect....

I'd like to keep gaming but if all we ever get is upgraded COD and Battlefield.... ugh. So sick and tired of shooters. Time to reinvent, create something totally different. And no, it's not Mirror's Edge.
