i want this, but for some reason am finding myself not wanting to get any of it until two years from now when they're done with all the expansions/dlc, then buying whatever edition will have all of it included.

man, they're really piling up the content for this one......barely six months in and already tens of hours worth of stuff added.

I bought Dragon Age and played for a few hours. Then put it back down again.

It was waaaaaaaaay to complicated for my liking. I felt like I had to juggle 50 different stats before even thinking of going in a fight.

Now it like RPG but looks like I cant handle uber hardcore RPG. It took the fun out for me. Not to mention that Mass effect has set the bar for RPG for me and anything lower is annoying.

I just don't find games that appealing anymore it seems...

Dragon Age and Mass Effect was ok, but not excellent. I get bored very fast with all these new "blockbusters".

I remember the old days when I could play on my Commodore 64 and Amiga for hours and hours until I fell asleep over the breadboxes.
And the joy of Dune 2 with speech and sound-effects when my brother bought a Soundblaster Pro.

Maybe my gaming-days are over or maybe I'm just spoiled from playing too many Blizzard-games...I don't know. It's weird though.

I found Dragon Age to be refreshingly challenging in these times when the gaming industry is heading towards casual players (and away from "hardcore"). Every other game is basically a guided tour with tips and instructions popping up every other second.

In Dragon Age even playing on normal difficulty forces you to think about what you do in some fights, not send everyone mindlessly hacking away at a random enemy.

Tried out Witcher again the other day. That game HAS NOT aged well.

High-fantasy RPGs are just about dead to me these days.
