PlayStation Now Could Rent Games for $5 and $6
Filed under: PLAYSTATION NOW

Sony hasn't answered everyone's most-asked question about the PlayStation Now—cost. Thanks to an image spotted by VG247 on Gaikai's website, we may have a better idea.

According to this image, renting Uncharted 3 would run $5 and Far Cry 3 would be $6. How long these rentals could go for is anyone's guess.

The image was found in Gaikai's history section of the website. It's possible these same plans Gaikai had in place when Sony purchased it in 2012 for $380 million are the same plans for today, but until Sony announces anything, we can only speculate.

At the very least, it sounds like Gaikai's rental plans were a bit reasonable.

5 or 6 bucks to play the game to completion is a good deal. Same amount for say, a week, is an OK deal. If that is the DAILY rate then that deal sucks camel balls. I mean redbox is $2 a day, for comparison...
