Btw, I'm pretty excited about the new trilogy. Although I don't think it'll be as good as the Sands of Time trilogy (and certainly this first installment in the new trilogy wasn't as good as the first installment of the previous trilogy), there's just something about Ubisoft's Prince of Persia games that totally sucks me in.
edit: Observations on the trailer:
1. Looks like the Warrior is back somehow, but none of the other previous Corrupted.
2. Pretty sure the new Corrupted is Elika's father -- the sword is the same.
3. When you get the DLC, the new sprint attack had better carry-over to the main game as well, or Cheddar Will Be Displeased.
4. I liked Iran a lot better back when they were all Zoroastrian.

I just think people should stop comparing this to the old POP. Its a completely different game, and as such, should be treated like a completely different game, instead of a spiritual successor.(which I guess it is, BUT STILL)
But I dunno man, somehow, I'm still greatly looking forward to future installments. Guess I'm just a sucker for these games.
put the whole game on paper and compare, it’s the same damn thing with different characters and somewhat different setting.
most people didn’t say it was bad; it just didn’t live up to the reputation or exceed it.
